There’s something unforgettable about competition weekends. The buzz of the rink, the sparkle of sequins, the chase for new personal bests — and the friendships that form along the way.
This year, Skate Cleveland 2025 marks more than just a competition. It’s the official launch of Skate Buddies, a new community-driven brand built to spread support, creativity, and connection across the skating world.
Our Mission: Community on Ice
In collaboration with the Winterhurst Figure Skating Club, we’re making Skate Cleveland feel like more than a competition — it’s a celebration of friendship on and off the ice. Our goal is to bring programs, products, and partnerships that keep skaters supported, connected, and inspired long after the last score is announced.
Registration Bags
Every competitor will receive a registration bag filled with surprises from Skate Buddies and our amazing partners in the skating world— including Balanced Skaters and Skater Stats. These goodies are designed to keep athletes balanced, motivated, and connected throughout the event. There will also be a guide from the Lakewood, Ohio Chamber of Commerce to show off how great our hometown is!
At the heart of Skate Buddies is our brand-new Keep + Give Program:
Two stickers in every bag → one to keep, one to give.
A simple way to make new friends and celebrate the connections made through skating.
A program we’re ready to expand — beyond stickers to merchandise and into other skating clubs and organizations nationwide.
It’s like a friendship bracelet for the modern skater: one stays with you, the other carries your spirit forward.
Competition photos don’t stop at the podium. Our Buddy Booth, located right next to the medals stage, gives every skater the chance to take a photo with friends — whether or not you’re bringing home hardware. It’s about celebrating the memories, the bonds, and the community that skating creates.
Beyond Cleveland
The launch of Skate Buddies at Skate Cleveland is just the beginning. Our vision is to partner with clubs and organizations everywhere, helping create skating experiences that are rooted in joy, support, and friendship.
This is the start of a movement — and we’re thrilled you’re part of it.
